Why choose a small electric folding bike?

What sets a small electric folding bike apart is its compactness. This makes it useful in situations where space is limited, such as:

• board the train
• take with you in the car or camper
• store in a small storage room or hallway in an apartment

Thanks to the electric assistance, you can cycle smoothly without having to exert much effort. This makes it easy to use, even when cycling longer distances or into a headwind.

What should you look for in a small electric folding bike?

If you opt for a small electric folding bike, there are a few important points to consider:

•
weight A lower weight makes it easier to lift the bike when you need to put it in your car or on the train.
•
folding system A smooth-operating folding system ensures that you are quickly ready to go and can store the bike compactly.
•
range The range indicates how far you can cycle on a single battery charge. For everyday use, this can be just as important as with larger bikes.
• Motor position
A motor in the rear wheel provides direct assistance, while mid-drive motors often give a more natural feel when pedaling.
