The e-4motion models are specially designed to meet the needs of a folding bike user. E-4motion is the very first developer of an electric folding bike in the Netherlands, which has allowed us to further develop the bike extensively over the years. When you visit, we take the time to listen to your needs and give appropriate advice. You even have the option of scheduling your test ride with the developer of the e-4motion bikes: Ellery Rijkaart.

Description

The e-4motion Maxi de Luxe is equipped with a powerful 100Nm mid-motor. In combination with the drive belt (no chain), the entire drivetrain is maintenance-free for 20,000 kilometers! A perfect bike for everyday use. The belt drive and hub gear make this bike much less vulnerable and you won’t be bothered by oil or grease while storing; after all, there is no chain present!

The support is very direct through a force sensor. The sensor quickly translates the required power into an amount of support. If you do not apply force, nothing happens! So the bike can never “suddenly” assist. You are always in full control with the pedals. This allows you to cycle economically, but also very pleasantly and comfortably.

Model maxi de luxe

This model is the deluxe version of our “standard” Maxi Plus model. The main differences include: an extra low completely free entry, mid-motor, belt drive (from the Gates brand), disc brake and 8 speed hub gears. Furthermore, this model comes standard with anti-puncture tires and a storage cover. The LiPo battery is of the Samsung brand. The bike has an extra Luxury finish of the gear system, mudguards, cabling and lighting. The support system works with force sensors, so the bike only provides support when you want it to, giving a very natural cycling feeling. You are always in full control of the bike. The belt and mid-motor are maintenance-free for up to 20,000 km!

The bike comes with 8-speed Shimano nexus hub. On the handlebar there is an electronic control panel with which the support can be regulated in 5 different electric support modes and on which, among other things, the speed, power, daily distance, total distance ridden and time ridden can be read.

The charger and battery are of course also part of the standard equipment of the bike and are therefore included as standard. We work with the latest battery technology of the Li-Polymer type (a light Li-ion variant). A 36 Volt 14 Ah (504Wh) Li-Po battery from the Samsung brand is included (this is more durable, more powerful and lighter than a standard Li-ion battery). Furthermore, the bike is also equipped with front suspension and seatpost suspension in the basic equipment.
